Edinburgh-based educational software publisher Crocodile Clips has released Macintosh versions of its groundbreaking Yenka modelling software. The new Mac versions sit alongside the existing Windows versions of the software.
The Yenka range is a set of powerful educational tools, suitable for use either on whiteboards or on individual computers, which let users experiment in a safe, accurate virtual lab. Each Yenka product is based around a powerful modelling engine, which lets you use and edit rich, interactive content from an extensive online database, or create lessons from scratch.
International Marketing Manager Esther Wilson said "making sure our software is available on a range of platforms is very important. Although the majority of schools in the UK use Windows, there are still a significant number of schools using Macs. Also, the proportion using Macs is considerably higher in some of our overseas markets, such as the USA and Australia."
